Yemen .. A 2,500-year-old historical cemetery was discovered
Riad Bakarmoum, Director of the General Authority for Antiquities and Museums on the coast of Hadramout, announced the discovery of an archaeological cemetery in the Do'an District, which is 2,500 years old.
The discovery was made during the incision process of a mountain in the Al-Mashhad area near the city of Rabion and the historic city of Al-Hajrin in the Doan District. It was found that there are caves and tombs that are 2,500 years old, dating back to the ancient Kingdom of Hadramout.
Bakramum appreciated the cooperation of the local authority in Doan District and the people of the region, when the authority called on them to stop work on the mountain, in a way that would contribute to preserving these monuments.
