Novak Djokovic crowns Belgrade in preparation for Roland Garros
Serbian Novak Djokovic, the world number one, Saturday won the 83rd title in his career by beating Slovakian Alex Mulcan in the Belgrade Championship, just before Roland Garros kicked off.
Djokovic easily beat Mulcan in the 6-4 and 6-3 groups in a match that lasted almost an hour and a half, the second consecutive final for the Serbian club after Roma for the Masters, where Djokovic lost to Rafael Nadal.
Djokovic won the Belgrade Championship for the third time in his career, after 2009 and 2011, and is now heading to Paris to play Roland Garros, where he may meet Nadal in the semi-finals.
