Pope Francis hosts 20 prisoners at his home in the Vatican
His Holiness Pope Francis, Pope of the Catholic Church, hosted today, Monday, 20 inmates in an Italian prison at his home in the Vatican.
And the Vatican announced that the Pope received the inmates of the Rebibbia prison, on the outskirts of Rome, in his home, Casa Santa Mara.
The house has been the residence of the 84-year-old pope since he was elected to the post in 2013, and it has not been announced what the Argentine pope has discussed with the prisoners.
According to the Italian Ministry of Justice, the prison houses inmates with drug addiction and other problems.
