Rimac reveals the final version of the superhero C_Two .. and the new name is Nevera
The Croatian company Rimac has revealed the final production version of the electric supercar C_Two, which it has renamed as Nevera; A local name for a powerful Mediterranean storm, the version features a number of upgrades compared to the original model that the company first revealed in 2018.
The new Rimac Niviera has received a wide range of changes to its chassis and aerodynamics that provide a significant improvement of 34% over the first version. Rimac changed things like the shape of the hood, shafts, splitter design and radiators to improve airflow and downforce.
Nevera will include the world's first AI trainer; It is a system that evaluates performance and provides guidance to help the driver improve his driving. The Driving Instructor uses 12 ultrasonic sensors, 13 cameras, 6 radars, and Nvidia's Pegasus operating system. The system will be available in 2022 in an over-the-air update for cars already delivered.
The company added that the car has an amazing acceleration from 0 - 100 km / h in just 1.85 seconds, thanks to a supercharged electric motor of 1914 horsepower. The car travels a distance of 547 km per charge. Rimac said that it will produce 150 copies of the new Nivera, and that it will be available at prices starting at $2.4 million.
