An aircraft carrier turns into a mobile green island that can expand... Photos and video
The name of the aircraft carrier has always been associated with wars, military equipment and the implementation of remote naval missions in stations and seas, with squadrons of aircraft stacked in attack and combat mode.
A Dutch studio tried to present another concept of aircraft carriers, far from fierce wars and international trans-sea conflicts, by designing a project that a group of businessmen is working on, in order to transform a giant aircraft carrier into a floating recreational island in the seas.
According to the "autoevolution" website, the Dutch studio "Mitsy" has created a new, different concept for aircraft carriers in the world, by presenting the new model of the aircraft welder called (Noah Twins Carrier), the first aircraft carrier in the world to be converted into a luxury floating yacht. .
According to the scenes published by the company for its prototype, this aircraft carrier can be extended and expanded laterally by having layers above the landing runway and is opened to reveal a golf course and beautiful green areas.
The sources noted that a helicopter landing pad has been placed on one side of the aircraft carrier, in addition to taxis for transportation instead of planes.
The site indicated that this ambitious project is not new, but it has recently come close to becoming a reality as a huge island floating in the seas and oceans.
German businessman Zenger An Udo Stern, who is working with a group of people on a project called the "Düsseldorf Initiative", said he was urging investors and businessmen to take part in the project and join forces to buy a former aircraft carrier to build the project.
According to the businessman, the French aircraft carrier "Foch", which previously served in the French Navy from 1963 to 2000, may provide this possibility.
The French aircraft carrier was sold in 2000 to Brazil and renamed "São Paulo", before being decommissioned nearly 10 years later. Where it was sold to a Turkish company threatened with collapse.
The sources noted that the businessman is currently focusing on this giant ship, as the opportunity is currently available to purchase it and convert it into a floating luxury yacht.
