Microsoft suspends sales of new products and services in Russia
Microsoft has suspended sales of its new products and services in Russia, in compliance with the sanctions imposed by the United States and the European Union on Moscow due to its invasion of Ukraine.
Moscow is the latest company to announce the suspension of its operations in Moscow, according to what was published by Al-Arabiya TV website, today, Friday.
Sportswear company Nike said Thursday that it will temporarily close all of its stores in Russia, joining many Western brands that suspended business in the country after its invasion of Ukraine.
Earlier this week, Nike said it would temporarily suspend the sale of its products through its website and app in Russia and directed its customers there to other stores.
The decision covers stores owned and operated by Nike as well.
The company also announced that its foundation will donate $1 million to the United Nations Children's Fund and the International Rescue Committee to support relief efforts.
