Google celebrates Earth Day with an expressive image of shrinking ice
The search engine Google celebrated Earth Day, which falls on April 22 of each year in a very special way.
Google has published a picture on its home page through which the researcher can see the extent of the shrinkage of ice rates between the year 2000 and 2020, when the ice rates decreased frighteningly, to more than 70% due to the rise in temperatures in general, or the so-called global warming.
This phenomenon comes as a result of the increase in the amount of carbon dioxide and emissions of greenhouse gases such as methane and other gases, which result from human practices that increase the temperature of the Earth. This portends climatic changes with dire repercussions if those responsible for changing some behaviors do not think about dealing with natural resources.
