Asus boasts of significant improvements in gaming performance on its new phones. The GameCool7 cooling system is bigger and better - it has boron nitride layer, dual graphite plates with a combined area of 16,000 mm² that allow for a 10% improvement in thermal efficiency. It also has a fast-cycle steam chamber, plus a 15% efficiency improvement due to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
All this along with the new Asus 'X Mode' and AeroActive Cooler 7 that will be made available in the Ultimate phone for a continuous gaming performance unlike any other phone. Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate will open its AeroActive gate when AeroActive Cooler 7 is attached for an even greater cooling advantage. Here are the numbers from the Asus test lab, the phone almost doesn't get hot even after an hour of heavy load.
The new AeroActive Cooler 7 has a 5-magnet tweeter with a 13 x 38mm tweeter, which, paired with the stereo speakers of ROG Phone 7, delivers 2.1 sound for a premium audio experience. The cooler, like the phones themselves, has a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
ROG Phone 7 can also enable ray tracing in supported games, which means you'll see more realistic water reflections and metal surfaces.
