This disclosure comes from an inventory and appraisal document submitted by Lisa Ferguson, one of Perry’s estate executors. Matthew Perry, who passed away at the age of 54 in October 2023, had an estimated net worth of $120 million at the time of his death. Although the bank balance is substantial, the full extent of his assets remains undisclosed.
Peak Earnings
During the peak of "Friends," Perry and his co-stars earned $1 million per episode. In 2009, Perry established the Alvy Singer Living Trust, named after Woody Allen's character in "Annie Hall." This trust holds the majority of Perry's assets and lists his father, John Perry, and his mother, Suzanne Morrison, as beneficiaries, along with his half-sister Caitlin Morrison and former girlfriend Rachel Dunn.

Cause of Death
Initial reports indicated drowning as the cause of death, but a toxicology report later confirmed that Perry died due to the acute effects of ketamine, with drowning, coronary artery disease, and the effects of buprenorphine listed as contributing factors. Authorities are investigating the source of the ketamine, with the involvement of the Los Angeles Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
