Egypt welcomed a record-breaking number of tourists in the first half of 2024, achieving USD 6.6 billion in tourism revenues, according to a statement released on Monday by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

The report highlights substantial growth in tourist arrivals, night stays, and tourism revenues compared to the same period in 2023. Tourism nights hit an all-time high of 70.2 million, surpassing the 67.6 million nights in 2023 and 65.7 million nights in 2010.
