HBO has released a teaser video for Episode 5 of the second season of "House of the Dragon," set to air next Sunday at 9 PM EST and 4 AM Cairo time. The teaser, which is one minute long, includes significant preview shots for the upcoming episode, highlighting the consequences of the beginning of the Dance of the Dragons war, which commenced in Episode 4.

In a conversation with Mashable, Geeta Vasant Patel, the director of Episode 3 of the second season, confirmed that the four dragon eggs seen in the episode are the same ones that appeared with Daenerys Targaryen in the "Game of Thrones" series. During Episode 3, Rhaenyra ordered that her sons Aegon and Viserys be placed under the care of her niece, Rhaena Targaryen, in the Vale for their safety during the ongoing war.
Dragon Eggs Reveal
The teaser video reveals that alongside Aegon and Viserys, there will be four dragon eggs, three of which have designs similar to Daenerys' dragon eggs in the original series. Patel disclosed that the dragon eggs shown in Episode 3 of "House of the Dragon" season 2 are indeed Daenerys' eggs.
Future Storyline
Patel mentioned, "Since three of the four eggs that go to the Vale will eventually reach Daenerys in the 'Game of Thrones' series, nothing undesirable will happen to them during the upcoming civil war in 'House of the Dragon.' Additionally, there is a fourth egg, and the second season of 'House of the Dragon' has yet to reveal why this extra egg joins the rest, and I certainly won't disclose that now."
