Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Reach Divorce Settlement After Eight-Year Legal Battle After an arduous eight-year legal battle, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have officially reached a divorce settlement, marking the end of one of Hollywood's most high-profile separations. However, a major $62 million dispute remains unresolved.

The Settlement

The Hollywood stars officially signed their divorce papers on Monday, bringing an end to their prolonged legal feud. Yet, the fight over their jointly owned French estate and vineyard, Château Miraval, dubbed the "War of the Roses," is far from over.

James Simon, Jolie's divorce attorney, expressed her relief, stating: "Angelina feels a sense of closure now that this chapter has ended." He added, "Honestly, Angelina is exhausted. She filed for divorce over eight years ago and has since focused on finding peace and healing for their family."

The Children

Jolie and Pitt share six children:

  • Biological children: Shiloh (18), twins Knox and Vivienne (16)
  • Adopted children: Maddox (23), Pax (21), Zahara (19)

In the aftermath of their separation, Zahara, Shiloh, and Vivienne have reportedly dropped "Pitt" from their surnames. Additionally, Maddox and Pax are believed to have ceased communication with their father, while Knox and Vivienne are thought to still maintain some level of contact, despite not being photographed with him in years.

The Château Miraval Dispute

While the divorce settlement has been finalized, the legal battle over Château Miraval, one of France's premier wine producers, continues.

The estate remains a contentious point between the former couple, as Pitt, 61, alleges that Jolie sold her $62 million stake in the vineyard to Stoli Group (famous for Stolichnaya vodka) without his consent.

This unresolved issue adds another layer of complexity to their already prolonged legal saga, leaving fans and observers waiting for the final resolution of this high-stakes dispute.
